Potassium Nitrate Technical Grade is back!
Potassium Nitrate milled is the most extensively used oxidizer in fireworks and pyrotechnics. It used for a wide variety of applications, the most important of which is in the manufacture of black powder. It is also used for making stars, comets, fountains, rocket fuels and many others.
Charcoal Mixed Hardwood Airfloat finds widespread use in pyrotechnics. Many types of charcoal exist, each with its own properties. Very fine charcoal floats in the air and is therefore sometimes referred to as 'airfloat'.
Sulfur has always been used extensively in pyrotechnics. It serves as a fuel and reduces the ignition temperature of mixtures. It also tends to increase the burning rate and friction or shock sensitivity of most mixtures.
Soluble Glutinous Rice Starch more commonly referred to as ‘SGRS ‘ is a binder used by the Japanese star makers.
