Summary

Although surprisingly insensitive to shock or friction by itself, this compound becomes highly sensitive when in contact with sulfur. Avoid contact with BP primed stars or any other material containing sulfur.

Text specifies Hemp or Pawlownia coal as the charcoal type. In place of dextrin, original formula calls for 2% glutinous rice starch. May be granulated or pasted onto rice hulls. Typically used for smaller shells less than 4″ dia.
