Summary

This variation of the Independence Red formula is designed for the screen-sliced method of making stars. Since there is no dextrin, water can not be used to make the stars. When screen slicing stars, 22% acetone is used as the solvent. Either acetone, NC or denatured alcohol can be used as the solvents when making these stars. See Skylighter article at http://skylighter.com/fireworks/how-to-make/red-rubber-stars.asp for detailed instructions for using this formula.
