Do not use plain water to prime.
NC loading should be 10% solids equivalent. Prime with rough-mix powder (75/15/10 7% dextrin), wet with saturated solution of potassium dichromate. Use only enough to cover all of the comp underneath (max two layers). Finish up with a large excess of dry powder to make the grains surfaces dusty.
